Creative Arts
The Creative Arts Department at Derryfield is committed to promoting artistic excellence through self-discovery, creative expression, and collaboration. Our program builds confidence and discipline in students by encouraging creative risk-taking and the application of technical skills. The Creative Arts faculty also promotes empathy and an appreciation for the artistic contributions of others.

Derryfield thespians returned to live, indoor performances this fall with the upper school production of “12 Angry Jurors.”
Middle School Chorus
Our Middle School Chorus performs “Walking on Sunshine” during the 2019 Thanksgiving Day Assembly.

The final on-campus musical performance before campus shut down for the Pandemic in March 2020.
Jazz Under the Tent
Derryfield performers moved outdoors in the Spring of 2021 in order to perform a series of jazz numbers for the community.
Scholastic Art Awards Gallery
Each year, Derryfield students submit their artwork to the New Hampshire Scholastic Art Competition, the most competitive juried art competition for students in grades 7-12. Derryfield is proud to acknowledge that 19 individual students and a total of 29 winning pieces received recognition from the New Hampshire Scholastic Art Awards in 2021!
